Windy City Chicago Blog Introduction

Groovy Chicago was created to share my love of the City of Chicago. Some years ago, i was born and raised in Chicago, on the northeast site. In the 70’s, when both my parents were wild and young (o.k. they weren’t really wild at all, i just threw that in for a bit of drama) they migrated here from equally groovy Puerto Rico, got married, and then had four beautiful children (hey, it makes for a better story, o.k.) all in Chicago. There were a few years (around kindergarten age), when we were back in Puerto Rico, but came back, and the family and i have lived in Chicago ever since. Well for me, i have taken a wacky detour since October 2006, and find myself in a tiny town in Mississippi. But i will be back in Chicago soon and am counting the minutes and the seconds, till my arrival back home, in Groovy Chicago.
